This site is built by Sunderland fans, for Sunderland fans. It’s a place to celebrate our club, our community, and our shared passion with a healthy bit of banter aimed at our neighbours up the road.

Is this an official Sunderland AFC website?

No. We are completely independent and not affiliated with Sunderland AFC, the EFL, or any official organisation. We are just fans having a laugh, creating content, and building community spirit.

Why the name fuckthemags.com?

It is all part of the rivalry. Sunderland vs Newcastle is one of the fiercest derbies in football, and our name reflects the passion, humour, and energy that comes with being a Mackem.

Do you hate Newcastle fans?

Individuals not at all, as a collect, sure. It is all banter. Rivalries make football what it is, and the “Mags” give us plenty of fuel for jokes, but it is never personal. At the end of the day, football is about pride, community, and love of the game.
